Overview

Financial models turn business assumptions into forecasts, scenarios and financial outcomes. We build and independently review models for planning, valuation, transactions and other decisions where the numbers need to be clear, connected and reliable.

Working with us

Choosing the right model

The right model depends on what you need it to answer. We start with the business decision, whether it is forecasting, planning, transaction analysis, scenario planning or another specific requirement.

Information we work with

We typically work with historical financial statements, management accounts, revenue and operating data, costs, headcount, working capital, capital expenditure, debt and financing information, and management forecasts.

Building from existing data

Your information does not need to be in a perfect modeling format. We can structure your existing financial and operating data into a model built around the relevant business drivers and required outputs.

Reviewing existing models

We can independently review models built by your finance team or another advisor. Depending on the scope, our review may cover formulas, hardcodes, links, calculations, assumptions, financial statement integration, scenarios, sensitivities and key outputs.

Improving what you already have

An existing model does not always need to be rebuilt. Where appropriate, we can restructure schedules, improve formula logic, add scenarios, integrate financial statements, update assumptions or improve the presentation of outputs.

Timelines & fees

Timelines and fees depend on the size and complexity of the model, number of schedules, historical periods, level of integration, scenarios and scope of review. We define the scope first and then provide the applicable timeline and fee.

Companies & Management Teams

Whether you are building a forecast, planning growth, evaluating cash requirements or preparing for a major business decision, we build financial models around your operating drivers and the questions you need the numbers to answer.

Finance & Transaction Teams

When financial decisions depend on reliable forecasts and scenarios, we build or analyze models covering revenue, costs, working capital, cash flow and financing assumptions to help you understand the potential outcomes.

CPA & Professional Advisory Firms

Flookup can work as your financial modeling resource when a client needs a model built or an existing model independently reviewed. We handle the technical analysis while your firm remains the client-facing advisor.
